Windows VPS

Fast where it counts

A VPS is only worth having if it is quicker than the shared account it replaces and steadier than the box in the office. Here is where the speed comes from.

Full isolation on Hyper-V

Each VPS is its own virtual machine with its own allocation of memory, cores and disk. On a shared account, one noisy site slows every other site on the box; on a VPS, another customer's traffic spike is not your problem, and yours is not theirs. That is the first and largest reason a VPS feels quicker.

Dell server hardware in a data center

The hosts are Dell servers with built-in connectivity and electrical redundancy, in a compliance-audited data center, patched, monitored and refreshed on our schedule. Nothing about the machine under your server is your problem.

A 100 Mbps connection, unmetered

Every VPS has a dedicated public IP on a 100 Mbps connection fed by the data center's redundant carriers, with no bandwidth cap, no fair-use threshold and no overage charge. A busy month costs the same as a quiet one.

Windows Server 2025, configured properly

A current, supported Windows Server with IIS, ASP.NET, PHP, SQL Server Express and MySQL installed and configured by people who do it every day. No trial software, no vendor utilities, no leftovers.

Room to grow

Move up a plan when the server fills. Standard to Pro doubles the memory on the same machine, with no rebuild and no migration. Beyond Pro, a dedicated server is the same platform with the hardware to yourself.

Common questions

Is a VPS faster than shared hosting?

Yes, and for a simple reason: on a VPS the memory and cores are yours. On a shared account they are everybody's.

Is the hardware shared?

The host is shared, as with any VPS; the virtual machine is not. Your allocation of memory and cores is yours alone, on Hyper-V.

Which plan is fastest?

Pro, with eight virtual cores and sixteen gigabytes. But speed is about fit: Light is quick for one site, Basic for several, Standard for a production application. The calculator on the compare page matches the plan to what you run.

Can I add memory later?

Yes. Change plan and the same server gets the larger allocation.
