Virtual desktops (VDI, DaaS) and servers from Infosaic Cloud, since 2001

Windows VPS · Standard plan

ASP.NET applications, on the stack they were written for

Windows Server 2025, IIS and ASP.NET configured, SQL Server beside it, and administrator access to set the application pool exactly as the application needs.

A Windows server for a Windows application

A .NET application wants IIS, the right .NET runtimes, SQL Server and a Windows administrator who can set an application pool, a certificate or a permission without asking. An Infosaic VPS is that: Windows Server 2025 with IIS and ASP.NET configured, SQL Server Express installed, and Remote Desktop access to the whole machine. Install the runtime version your application targets, publish, and it runs.

What is there when you sign in

  • IIS configured for multiple sites and application pools.
  • Current ASP.NET runtimes, with any others a click away.
  • SQL Server Express, or a full edition you install under your own license.
  • A dedicated IP for the application and its API, on an unmetered 100 Mbps connection.
  • Remote Desktop, with full administrator rights throughout.

Standard is the plan for this

Eight gigabytes of memory and six virtual cores is the production plan: the application under real traffic, its database working beside it, and the reporting that runs on top. A quiet internal application fits on Basic; a busy one with a large database is a Pro.

The plan for this: Standard

8 GB of memory, 6 virtual cores, 60 GB system drive and 200 GB data drive, for $39.99 a month, on a Dell Hyper-V host with full isolation. The other three plans are the same server with more or less memory and processing power.

Common questions

Which .NET versions are supported?

Current ASP.NET runtimes are installed; you can add any other version your application targets, as you are the administrator of the server.

Can I run SQL Server on the same server?

Yes. SQL Server Express is pre-installed; a full edition can be installed under your own license. For a large database, Pro or a second server on a virtual private cloud is the better arrangement.

Can I use my own SSL certificate?

Yes. Bind it in IIS as you would on any Windows server; support can help.

Can I deploy from Visual Studio or a pipeline?

Yes. Web Deploy, FTP or a copy over Remote Desktop all work; it is a standard IIS server.
