Windows VPS · Basic plan

Windows applications that never stop

A Windows service, a scheduled job, an integration, a trading or monitoring application: a server that runs it around the clock, on a dedicated IP, with nobody's laptop involved.

The application that cannot live on a PC

Some Windows programs have to run all the time: a service that moves files between systems, a job that runs at three in the morning, an integration that polls an API, a monitoring or trading application that must not miss an hour. On somebody's PC they stop when the PC does. On an Infosaic VPS they run on a Windows Server 2025 machine in a data center, on a dedicated IP, with full isolation and a 100 Mbps connection that is never metered.

What makes it suitable

  • Full administrator access: install the application, register the service, schedule the task.
  • A dedicated public IP, so whitelisting by address works and inbound connections have somewhere to land.
  • Unmetered traffic on a 100 Mbps connection, so a chatty integration costs nothing extra.
  • Full isolation on Hyper-V: nobody else's workload competes with the job.
  • Remote Desktop to check on it from anywhere; support around the clock if it stops.

Basic is the plan for this

Four gigabytes and four virtual cores carry a handful of services and jobs with room to spare. One light service fits on Light; a fleet of them, or one that is heavy, belongs on Standard or Pro.

The plan for this: Basic

4 GB of memory, 4 virtual cores, 50 GB system drive and 100 GB data drive, for $29.99 a month, on a Dell Hyper-V host with full isolation. The other three plans are the same server with more or less memory and processing power.

Common questions

Can I run a Windows service on the VPS?

Yes. It is a full Windows Server 2025 machine with administrator access; install and register services as you would on any server.

Does the application keep running when I log off?

Yes. Services and scheduled tasks run whether or not anyone is connected. Only an application that needs an interactive session requires a logged-in user, and Remote Desktop sessions can be left disconnected rather than logged off.

Is the IP address fixed?

Yes. Every VPS has its own dedicated public IP that stays with the server.

Can an AI agent run on a VPS?

It can, though an agent that drives a desktop and a browser is usually better on a virtual desktop, which is built for interactive use. A VPS is the right home for the service, API or job the agent talks to.
