Light: browsing, email and everyday documents
Three gigabytes of memory and four virtual cores. A browser, a mailbox and a document open together, reached from whatever device you already own.
The small one, described honestly
Light is built for the work most people actually do all day: a browser with a handful of tabs, email, and a document or a modest spreadsheet. It runs Windows 11 with a real desktop, a real Start menu and full administrator rights, and it will not pretend to be a workstation.
It is also the cheapest way to keep one Windows-only program reachable when the machine in front of you is a Mac, a Chromebook or an iPad. Open a browser tab and Windows is on screen.
Light runs Windows 11 LTSC, the long-term servicing edition: the same Windows 11, security-updated monthly, without the Store, Copilot, widgets and self-installing apps, and without the annual feature upgrade. On three gigabytes that is what keeps the memory for your programs rather than for the operating system's extras. Ordinary Windows software installs and runs as on any Windows 11, and the Office desktop applications come pre-installed - bring your own Office license and sign in.

Fast where it counts
Four virtual cores and three gigabytes of memory keep a browser, a mailbox and a document responsive all day - and because the work is done in the data center, the desktop is as quick from a five-year-old laptop as from a new one.
The desktop is its own virtual machine on a server-class host, running vanilla Windows 11 with nothing pre-installed to slow it down, on a data-center connection with unmetered traffic. It keeps working at full speed when you disconnect, and the device you open it from only has to draw the screen.
Who Light suits
If a spreadsheet is open all day alongside three other programs, start at Basic instead - Light will feel tight.

Browser-and-email work
Most of the day in a browser and a mailbox, with documents opened as they arrive rather than built from scratch.

A second machine that travels
Leave the laptop at home. Any machine with a browser gets you back to your own Windows desktop.

One Windows program on a Mac
The cheapest way to keep a single Windows-only application reachable without buying a second computer.

Occasional and seasonal users
A desk that only needs to exist some months of the year, at a price that does not hurt in the others.

It is your machine, with the keys
Administrator rights come with every plan, Light included. Install any Windows program you hold a license for, add a printer and its driver, change a setting, schedule a task, edit the registry if the job needs it.
Nothing on the desktop needs a support ticket to unlock and there is no approved-software list. What stays ours is everything underneath: the host, the storage, the network, the platform patching and the physical security of the building.
Delivery is instant, and instant means zero
Finish signing up and the login is in your inbox. Open it in a browser and the desktop is on screen. That is the whole sequence.
There is no provisioning queue to sit in, no build window to wait out, no setup call to schedule and no approval step. The number of minutes is not small - it is none.

The four plans
Every plan is a fast Windows 11 computer on a server-class host, with administrator rights, a dedicated IP, unmetered traffic and round-the-clock support. Pick the memory and processing power your work needs.
Common questions
Is Light enough to run Microsoft Office?
For ordinary use, yes - Word, Excel and Outlook run on Light, and they come pre-installed; sign in with your own Microsoft 365 account or product key to activate them. If you keep several large workbooks open at once, or you run Office alongside an accounting package all day, Basic is the sensible starting point.
Can I upgrade later if Light is too small?
Yes. Move up a plan whenever you like and pay the difference from that point. Nothing has to be rebuilt or reinstalled by you.
What is Windows 11 LTSC, and why does Light use it?
The long-term servicing edition of Windows 11: the same kernel, desktop and programs, security-patched monthly, with the Store, Copilot, widgets and bundled apps left out and no feature upgrades. It takes less memory at idle, which on a three-gigabyte desktop is the difference between quick and cramped. Anything with a normal Windows installer runs on it; Store-only apps need the Store added first, which your administrator rights allow.
How fast is it?
Fast. Each desktop is its own virtual machine on a server-class Hyper-V host, with its own allocation of memory and virtual cores - up to sixteen cores and twenty gigabytes on Advanced. It runs vanilla Windows 11 with nothing pre-installed to slow it, sits on a data-center connection with unmetered traffic, and keeps running at full speed when you disconnect. The device you open it from only draws the screen, so an old laptop gets the same performance as a new one.
How quickly do I get the desktop?
Instantly. You finish signing up, the login is in your inbox, and you open the desktop in a browser. There is no provisioning queue, no build window, no setup call and no approval step - the honest number of minutes is none.
Do I get administrator rights?
Yes, on every plan. It is a full Windows 11 desktop and you are the administrator: install any software you hold a license for, add printers and drivers, schedule tasks, change settings. There is no approved-software list and nothing needs a support ticket to unlock.
Is the Windows license included?
Yes. Every plan ships with a pre-activated Windows 11 license inside the monthly price. You do not bring your own and you do not buy one separately.
What do I need to connect?
A browser is enough - the desktop opens through a link on Windows, a Mac, Linux, a Chromebook, an iPad or an Android tablet. If you prefer a standard Remote Desktop client, that works too.
Where are the desktops hosted?
On Infosaic Cloud, in a compliance-audited data center in the United States, fed by redundant carriers with blended traffic - if one provider has an outage, another takes over automatically. The facility maintains a PCI, HIPAA and SSAE Type II certified network.
Is traffic metered?
No. Every desktop has a dedicated public IP address and unmetered traffic: there is no bandwidth cap, no fair-use threshold and no overage charge.
Can more than one person use a desktop?
One person at a time. A Windows 11 desktop is licensed for a single interactive user, and the desktops are set up that way. For a team, give each person a desktop of their own - the price is per desktop and there is no per-user charge on top. A company can have the desktops replicated from one gold image on a private network, as described on the VDI page.
