Virtual desktops (VDI, DaaS) and servers from Infosaic Cloud, since 2001

Virtual desktops

What we mean by instant

Not a few minutes. Not same-day. You finish signing up, the login is in your inbox, and you open the desktop in a browser.

The whole sequence

There are three steps and none of them involves waiting for us. You choose a plan and complete the sign-up. The login details arrive by email. You open the link in a browser and the Windows desktop is on screen.

That is the entire process. Most people are working inside a couple of minutes, and the only thing taking those minutes is reading the email and choosing a password.

What is not in the way

  • No provisioning queue. You are not placed in line behind other orders.
  • No build window. Nobody has to assemble anything before you can start.
  • No setup call. There is no onboarding session to schedule with a salesperson.
  • No approval step. Nobody reviews your order in the morning.
  • No installation on your side. A browser is enough - there is nothing to download first.

Why this is unusual

Most hosted desktop offerings quote a lead time, because most of them are assembled per customer: a specification is agreed, a machine is prepared, an engineer configures access, and somebody emails you when it is ready. That is a reasonable way to sell a bespoke environment and a poor way to sell a desktop.

Infosaic has been running Windows infrastructure since 2001, and the desktop plans are standard packages with a standard Windows build. Standard means the sign-up can complete the whole thing without a person in the loop, which is what removes the wait.

What happens after that

The desktop is yours to change. You have full administrator rights, so the first ten minutes are usually spent installing the two or three programs you actually use and signing into your mail. Everything you install stays there between sessions, on whichever device you sign in from next.

If something does not go the way you expect, support is included on every plan and available around the clock.

The four plans

Four packages of the same fast-performing Windows 11 computer, from a light desk for browsing and email to a workstation-class machine. Administrator rights and round-the-clock support on all of them.

Common questions

How many minutes does provisioning take?

None. There is no provisioning step to time. The sign-up completes, the email is sent, and the desktop opens when you click the link.

Do I have to talk to anyone before I can start?

No. There is no mandatory onboarding call and no approval step. If you would rather ask questions first, support is there, but nothing requires it.

What if I sign up outside business hours?

It makes no difference. The process does not depend on somebody being at a desk, so a Sunday-evening sign-up works exactly like a Tuesday-morning one.

Can I cancel later?

Yes. There is no contract and no minimum term. Ask for the cancellation at least two days before the next billing date and nothing further is charged; the cancellation policy has the details.
